Seashell Paintings

I have been collecting seashells since I was a little girl growing up in South Florida and have hundreds! They were my inspiration to paint the seashell illustrations and watercolors.

There’s just something about a seashell’s shape, colors, and textures that fascinates me. I also love collecting the old and broken, ocean worn shells while beachcombing. Most of my watercolor paintings are of the broken and sea-tossed shells that expose the beautiful inside curves of the shells.

When I first started learning how to paint watercolors, I focused mainly on seashells. I then began illustrating very detailed, and time-consuming digital “watercolor” illustrations in Photoshop. The illustrations are very realistic!

This page has both my digital illustrations and watercolors.
