Breaking Waves
Turquoise breaking waves cresting in a turbulent ocean, with white caps and foam.
After a trip to Maui, I watched the giant waves and surf that an incoming tropical storm created. They were hypnotizing and revealed the power of the ocean was in her full glory!
I painted this watercolor sideways to let the colors flow and accented the white caps with white gouache.
